Today we consider:

stealing back gifts
cheese-slicers
small socks
chocolate mice (sadly not the kind you’d include in your pick’n’mix)
Winnie-the-Pooh vs It
Tim Curry
olive crimes
audiobook auditions
doro wat
tan leather goods
and
Carmen Electra.

Plus: Olly likes to hang loose, even in his gloves; Helen’s going to have to work on her offensive foreign accents if she wants a career narrating audiobooks; and Martin the Sound Man’s morals go to shit around olives.

In today’s Bonus Bit of Crap on the App Olly discovers the one type of present his dad Stanley IS happy to receive. Give yourself this gift by getting the app for your iDevices, Android and Windows gadgets.

it appears that the silhouetted figure of a child could be holding something in his hands. perhaps eeyore’s head on the end of a spear?

  2. Martin Says:

I definitely though Winnie the Pooh first. Keep it as it is though – it looks pretty cool.

  3. Kyle from Bloomington Says:

Thanks to the support of Martin the Soundman, I will continue to sample the olives.

  4. David Says:

I don’t remember why I ever started, but for years (perhaps even decades) now I’ve been wearing women’s athletic socks instead of mens due to the lack of unsightly ankle fabric and snug, aerodynamic fit.
There’s no need to be embarrassed buying them; nobody will know they aren’t for your elderly grandmother or sporty niece.

    • Toby Says:

Thanks David. Funnily enough, I found some really quite nice socks at Sainsbury’s that are size 6 – 8 and a half. So a pretty good fit for me. Not sure if your suggestion would work for me, I tend to stick to a 10-hole DM boot as preferred footware.

  5. j from portland, oregon Says:

a very delicious chicken and egg dish is a japanese one called oyako-donburi. oya ko is parent and child; donburi is rice in a bowl with food on top. so, it’s basically rice in a bowl with a breaded chicken cutlet and semi-scrambled egg and a few chopped scallions on top.
